SMS & Automated Messaging Consent

By using Call Guards, you acknowledge that the service sends automated SMS messages on behalf of the business when a phone call is missed. By calling a business that uses Call Guards, callers consent to receive automated text messages related to their inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Your responsibilities

  • You confirm you have consent to text your customers
  • You are responsible for message content approval
  • You comply with local and federal SMS laws

No guarantees

We aim for reliability, but uptime, delivery speed, and booking outcomes are not guaranteed.

Payments & cancellation

Billing is monthly. You may cancel anytime. No long-term contracts.

Compliance Responsibility

Businesses using Call Guards are solely responsible for obtaining any required consent from their customers and for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws related to phone calls, text messaging, and data privacy, including but not limited to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Call Guards provides the technical service only and does not provide legal advice or guarantee compliance.

Limitation of liability

Call Guards is not liable for lost revenue, missed jobs, or SMS delivery failures caused by carriers or third-party providers.

Third Party Services

Call Guards relies on third-party providers such as telecommunications carriers and messaging platforms. Message delivery timing and reliability are dependent on these providers and are not guaranteed.
